We believe the role of an Early Childhood Educator is to provide child-oriented programs that meet the needs of children as individuals. Through on going observation, developmental knowledge and family input our programs extend and challenge the children to build skills they will require for life.

Our environment is stimulating and welcoming. Children can make choices in regards to activities, resources and equipment and they learn through play so we provide hands on experiences that motivate learning and encourage exploration.

Children are treated equally and we promote similarities between people rather than differences. Educators guide and model respect and empathy towards everyone.

Our goal is to provide the highest quality care that is a child’s right. Stimulating positive experiences and interactions that will foster all aspects of early childhood development.

We believe each child is a unique person with their own experiences, interests and potential. In the early years, children learn through participation in play, modelling and imagination.

Our aim is to extend a child’s unique inquisitive nature by providing an environment that promotes play based learning.

By fostering social, cognitive, creative development with emotional security, we aim to develop a strong sense of self-worth and to groom each child for their school years.

Endeavour Hills Early Learning Centre and Kindergarten is privately owned and operated. The director of the centre is principally responsible for the service.

The centre welcomes and encourages parent involvement in the ongoing process of improvements of the service to best meet the needs of the children and families.

The centre is staffed by a team of dedicated early childhood professionals. Each of the rooms are led by a qualified educator who is responsible for the devising and implementing developmentally appropriate programs. Supportive educators work closely with each team leader to ensure the children the children are cared for in an individual way.

Professional development is a crucial part of our commitment to high standards of care. Educators participate in regular staff meetings, an annual workshop and in-service training to further enhance their knowledge and skills.
